TOEFL scores and ESL Programs (English as a Second Language)

TOEFL Preparation

Since most of Tutorium students plan to attend university in the United States, our curriculum focuses on teaching the language skills necessary for the TOEFL exam.

We offer TOEFL and IELTS test prep courses, and IEP students in levels 3-5 take a practice TOEFL ITP as a part of their end of session evaluation.

English for International Professionals Series (EIPS)

The Tutorium also offers the English for International Professionals Series (EIPS) courses for academics and students who have already finished their ESL studies but who wish to further improve specific English skills. Courses are offered both in-person and online. Courses include Grammar for Self-Editing, Writing and Composing, Pronunciation, Speaking Skills for Professionals, Conversation and Vocabulary Skills, and preparation for both the TOEFL iBT and IELTS.

EIPS courses do NOT qualify students for I-20s. Only full-time Intensive English Program (IEP) students qualify for I-20s.
