Augustana is a Liberal Arts College offering over 60 academic programs including majors such as Biology, Business, Education, and Psychology to name a few. Augustana College also offers Pre-professional programs in areas such as Pre-Medicine, Pre-Physical Therapy, and Pre-Engineering.

    Financial Assistance

    Average annual cost to student after scholarships and financial assistance: $ 22,000.  98% of students receive financial assistance.

    Augustana offers a limited number of international merit scholarships to qualified students who have been accepted for admission.  Awards are based upon the overall academic strength of each applicant. Financial assistance can only be awarded to students who have been officially accepted into Augustana College, having provided the College with all the information requested in the application process. The maximum award would only cover up to half the cost of tuition and is renewable each year if academic good standing is maintained. Additional help (up to $2000 per year) may be available through campus employment.

    At Augustana first through third year students are required to live in College housing.

    • Augustana College students experience success. Shortly after graduation, 98 percent of our students are in graduate programs or in full-time positions. Our students graduate in four years and 90 percent of alumni say their Augustana major led directly to their current career

    Official TOEFL scores sent directly from the testing agency (Minimum: 550 on written test; 213 on computerized test; 80 on IBT); TOEFL code: 1025; IELTS Band 6 or higher

    While we do not offer ESL courses we strongly encourage international students who require additional support with the English language to take College Reading 101, or Introduction to College Discourse 111. We also offer services at the Reading & Writing Center.
