    What Is Special?

Professors at North Central love to teach. They want you to get excited about learning, life, and your future. They take the time to get to know you and want you to succeed. Our curriculum emphasizes writing, speaking, original thinking and group processing—preparing you for a world full of change, ethical challenges and diversity. Our faculty will inspire you to learn, to listen, to think and to express yourself with confidence.

We’re located on a beautiful 59-acre campus in the heart of Naperville, a residential district that is on the National Register of Historical Places - yet also part of the tenth fastest growing city in the nation. Chicago is just 45 kilometers (30 minutes by train) to the east. And with the Illinois Research and Development Corridor nearby, you will find North Central to be an ideal location for academic, social and career opportunities.

North Central puts you at the center of everything. And because you are central to everything we do, everyone here—professors, coaches, administrators, and students—wants to see you succeed in whatever you do. That’s what makes us different. We can’t wait to find out what makes you different. We can’t wait to get to know you, to get to know your ambitions, and to help you in whatever you choose to make your life’s work. Be Central!
